Every player starts at 1,000 rating. Your rating changes based on your finish in each Ranked competition. Winning or placing well increases your rating. Finishing at the bottom decreases it.

Ranked includes Gambit, Graveyard, and Weekly Audible formats. Each competition uses one of these formats, so you can compete across different play styles while building a single rating.

Entry to each Ranked competition costs 1 token ($11.99). Each activated Contract Dynasty team includes 1 free Ranked entry. You can win tokens back through strong finishes.

Yes. Your tier is based on your current rating. If your rating drops below a tier threshold, you move down. You have to maintain your level of play to keep your tier.

Yes. There is a global leaderboard based on current rating. To keep the leaderboard fresh and competitive, rating decay runs on August 1st each year. Rating above 30,000 decays by 50% (for example, 34,000 becomes 32,000). If you have not played a ranked game in the past year, your rating decays to 29,950. Ratings below 30,000 are not affected.

Special achievement frames are earned through specific accomplishments: Graveyard Reaper for winning Ranked Graveyard, Gambit Futurist for winning with every Gambit coach, and Audible King for winning a Ranked Weekly Audible. All frames are permanent once earned.
